Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to information when you visit peeezza.xyz ("the site"). The short version: the site has no accounts, no comments and no newsletter, and it collects as little as possible.

Hosting and server logs

The site is a static website served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as IP addresses and browser information to deliver pages and protect against abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Analytics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4, a service of Google, to understand which guides are read and which links are useful, so we know what to update and write next. It records things like the pages you view, how far you scroll in a guide, which links you click on this site (including affiliate links), the site that referred you, your approximate location (country/city derived from your IP address, which Google does not store), and your device and browser type. It uses first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_*) to tell visits apart. We don't send names, email addresses or other directly identifying information, and we don't use Google Analytics for advertising.

  • Retention: event-level data is kept for 14 months, then deleted automatically.
  • Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): for visitors there, analytics and advertising storage is off by default (Google Consent Mode). Analytics cookies are only set after you click Accept in the cookie bar; until then Google receives at most cookieless pings without identifiers. Visitors elsewhere are measured by default.
  • Change your choice: use the Cookie settings link (also in the footer of every page). Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie.
  • Opt out everywhere: install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block cookies/scripts in your browser — the site works the same.

Cloudflare, our host, may also count page views without cookies (Cloudflare Web Analytics).

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link (see the affiliate disclosure) and arrive on a partner's website, that partner may set cookies to record that you came from this site, so a commission can be attributed if you book. Those cookies are controlled by the partner under its own privacy policy. We receive aggregated reports (for example, number of bookings), not your personal details.

Every page also loads a small script from our affiliate network, Travelpayouts (served from emrldtp.com and related domains). It lets the network recognise this site and attribute bookings made through partner links. The script may set cookies or use similar storage, send basic visit information (such as the page address and your browser type) to Travelpayouts, and load web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your IP address is visible to those services. This processing is governed by Travelpayouts' and Google's own privacy policies. You can block it with your browser's cookie or content-blocking settings; the site works the same without it.

Advertising and Google cookies

The site may show ads served by Google AdSense in the future. If it does:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
  • Information on how Google uses data from sites that use its services: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
  • Where required (for example for visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland) a consent message will be shown before personalised ads are used.

Until ads are switched on, no advertising code is loaded on this site.

If you email us

If you write to hello@peeezza.xyz, we use your email address and message only to reply and to fix the guide you wrote about. We don't add you to any mailing list or sell your address.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can ask us to delete any email correspondence by writing to hello@peeezza.xyz.

Changes

If this policy changes (for example when ads are switched on) the "last updated" date above will change.
