This section collects short answers to the factual questions visitors ask most often before a trip to Korea: which public holidays fall during your dates, what plug and voltage Korea uses, whether you tip, how Korean age and dates are written, and similar quick checks.
Every answer is kept short on purpose, gives the fact in the first line, and links the official source — the Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute for holiday dates, the Korea Meteorological Administration for climate figures, government ministries for rules. Where a number changes year to year, the guide shows the date it was last checked.
